To coincide with the new GDPR regulations we helped Kingston Technology raise awareness of their encrypted USBs.
Kingston Technology were aware that with the new general data protection regulations (GDPR) coming into effect, businesses and organisations would need to review their data security to ensure they are compliant. USBs are a popular choice for storing data but if lost or stolen can represent a huge data security risk.
In the run up to the regulation change Kingston wanted to run a long-term campaign which allowed them to regularly communicate with their target audience around the subject of GDPR and data security as well as raise awareness of Kingston Technology encrypted USBs.
The campaign needed to be fun and memorable. Our idea was to create a small, iconic character that casts a big shadow. The simple USB shape was used in graphic situations to highlight the benefits of using encrypted USBs. The graphic style was bold and edgy, capturing the serious nature of the topic whilst still creating eye-catching and memorable collateral.
